AWS OLYMPIAN: GUS SCHUMACHER!

We are overjoyed to announce that Alaska Winter Stars athlete Gus Schumacher has been named to the 2022 US Olympic Cross Country Team!

Gus has trained year round with Jan and AWS from the age of 8 and we could not be more proud of him! This is the culmination of many years of hard work and dedication and we are honored to have played a part in Gus achieving this lifelong dream.

We would also like to congratulate AWS alumni Scott and Caitlin Patterson for being named to their second US Olympics team. We are so happy to have been part of your Olympic journey and see you both shine on the international stage!

Get ready to cheer all of Team USA starting the first week of February, and GOOD LUCK GUS!
