We are very excited to announce that three of our AWS alumni, Tyler Kornfield and Scott and Caitlin Patterson have made the Olympic team and will be heading to South Korea to represent the United States in the 2018 Winter Olympics! 26-year-old Scott Patterson is a multi-medalist at Junior Nationals, 3-time Alaska State High School Skimeister and 3-time US National Champion. 27-year-old Caitlin Patterson is also a multi-medalist at Junior Nationals, 6-time US National Champion. 26-year-old Tyler Kornfield became one of the youngest US National Champions ever in 2010 and has won two National titles since then, including winning the 30km classic at US Nationals this year.
Also qualifying for Team Australia was former AWS member Jessica Yeaton, a South High School standout and US Nationals medalist.
Congratulations Tyler, Scott and Caitlin on this outstanding achievement. We are so proud of your hard work and dedication and look forward to cheering you on in PyeongChang!
